- Notes:'Trail Rider' tube-fed lever action repeating rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The nylon 76 was the only lever action rifle Remington ever made and is accredited as the "world's fastest lever action rifle" with a short 30 degree stroke. Features a blued finish, 19.5" barrel, large blade front sight, adjustable rear sporting sight, steel receiver/cover with integral scope rail, 14 round tube magazine, serrated trigger, sliding tang safety, curved lever and 'Mohawk Brown' checkered Zytel plastic pistol grip shoulder stock.
Two grades of this rifle were available: The Nylon 76AB Apache Black (approximately 1600 were made of this type), and the Nylon 76MB Mohawk Brown (25,327 were made of this type).
